A modern way of letting go...

The official Idlewild website reports today that Idlewild lead singer/pretty boy Roddy Woomble is set to release his first solo album, My secret is my silence, on July 24th. What with Tim Burgess, Thom Yorke, James Dean Bradfield and Nicky Wire all releasing similar side projects, seems there's a bug catching. It'll be interesting to see what Roddy's album turns out like, as I've enjoyed Idlewild throughout, whether they're in their more heavy modern rock phase or the more subdued phase as on their last release Warnings/Promises.
