Someone's gonna make you pay your fare.

Hey there Death Cab For Cutie fans. Know where the name Death Cab came from? I used to love the movie Magical Mystery Tour as a kid and even now, despite its questionable artistic merit. As Paul said in Anthology, where else can you see John performing "I Am The Walrus" live? And where too can you check out the Bonzo Dog Band performing their song "Death Cab For Cutie" along with a scantily clad dancer in front of the Beatles in a burlesque club? The Bonzo Dog Band (there was also a Doo-Dah thrown in the band's name at one point) mixed jazz, vaudeville, and rock elements and had connections with not only the Beatles, but also Monty Python (Neil Innes of the Bonzo Dog Band also was a Python collaborator, and co-creater of the Rutles.) Macca went on to produce their Top 5 British hit "I'm The Urban Spaceman" in 1968.
